Antoine Desnault - Senior Consultant
After studying
business for 3 years in France and 2 years in Ireland, I was looking for a
challenging first professional experience, but did not know exactly what to do
and where to go.
The first thing I had
in mind was a job fair event I had attended a few months earlier where a
consultant gave a very good presentation about consulting, I therefore decided
to start looking for opportunities in the consulting field. After some research
I found an interesting job proposal from a company called EUROGROUP CONSULTING,
something quite short saying : “Start a career in management consulting, join a
dynamic and challenging team based in Brussels, take part in large
transformation projects for major business players”. I went ahead, applied, and
got the job!
Then what happened?
Well it’s simply EUROGROUP CONSULTING: On my first day I was already at the
client's premises, working on the merger of two major consumer credit companies,
taking part the various streams of the project and helping the management make
the right decisions. Since then the pace has not lowered down: reorganization of
a syndicate in the brokerage sector, change management project within one of the
top Belgian banks… It always a new challenge! Actually every day is a challenge
and that what makes this job so good. You’ll never know what will happen during
your day, you must be able to face all possibilities at all times and deal with
them, prioritize, decide, organize, explain, convince and most of all mobilize!
That’s being a consultant.
And being a
consultant in EUROGROUP CONSULTING is even better, you probably know why: our
structure is small so we all have significant responsibilities, we work in small
teams on large projects, from banking and insurance to the public sector,
health care, industry and utilities, there are plenty of things to learn! Not to
